I bailed on my previous order and reordered on 6/7. The car was built last Monday and should be here within two weeks. Not at all trying to rub it in; just saying- you need to go bash some skulls.

To a large extent its been luck of the draw. I ordered on March 29, Built on April 26 and Delivered on May 12. If it hadnt been for the Volcano Shutdown (My car was scheduled that Monday) and the release of the GT Hold the day before my car was finished (I had to sit 5 days awaiting my turn for a truck at the rail yard) I would very likely would have had it 9-12 days earlier. On the other hand people with a build date a month before mine are still waiting on their car.

because most people don't get their cars built for a month after ordering. My dealership has told me their Ford rep said it will be built next week (dealer allocation bs) but there is no exact build date or VIN. I'm gonna be calling a lot next week to see if this happens. A friend ordered one from a dealership an hour away and he's in the same boat.

Retail Order Verification is just what it sounds like. Dealer collected personal info from you and forwarded it to Ford to prove that their really was a Retail Customer and you got priority over all the dealer cars. This system was introduced because Ford had an issue with dealers claiming a retail order to get their GT Supercars and Shelby GT500s early. When the car came in they would just say the customer canceled.
