Foglights w/o headlights on?

Quick question, can you turn on the foglights with only the parking lights on? I can do this with my 03 Mach 1, but someone was saying the foglights only work with the headlights turned on with the newer models.

Yes you can run the fogs with just the parking lights.

I drive around with my 5000k HIDs as daytime running lights. Mainly to break in the bulbs - but it also helps people notice me. Looks much better than driving with just the incandescent fog lights lit up.
