Flowmaster Outlaws with Catted x pipe?

Anyone running Flowmaster Outlaws with a catted x pipe?

like this one...

Just wondering what it would sound like...

Would it be louder with the catted x than just stock H?

Thanks!!

Hey Bryan - Good question and it's really, really tough to nail down someone that has this exact system on YouTube but I think I found your guy!

I'm pretty confident that's catted above as O/R is quite loud with the outlaws. Just for comparisons sake here's a guy just at idle!

To answer your question yes it would be louder with the catted X vs the stock H as they're typically a little more higher pitched sounding but since it's utilizing the cats they'll eat up a lot of that feedback (Snap, Crackle, Pop)

Let me know if you have any other questions and I'm here to help!

Alex

Running stock cats and the Flowmaster X pipe my car was fairly loud, I think with the X you'll get more rasp compared to an H. Here are some videos as well.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I haven't found many videos of a catted X with Outlaws.

I've heard the Outlaws with off road x but I feel like I can't go that route. It sounded mean.

So if an off road x with Outlaws would be a 10 loud.

a catted x with Outlaws would be like a 7-8 loud..

Do you still think it would be raspy with the catted x?

Thank You!!

Hey Alex, I appreciate the help man!!

Plan on buying some more exterior parts from AM soon!!

These videos sound good!!

I've heard the off road x with Outlaws and its very LOUD!

It was hard to have a conversation in the car.

I still want it Loud but I'm just trying to keep it street legal, Plus If I ever decide to do some traveling in the stang.

Off road x with Outlaws is a 10 loud

catted X with Outlaws would be about a 7-8 loud

It popped a lot with the off road decel.

Would you recommend the Magnaflow Catted x pipe?

Thanks I appreciate it! !

The videos above where all with stock cats and the Flowmaster X, I would say it is about a 7 but that is compared to my current setup which is the Outlaws and a Lethal O/R H.

I run offroad X pipe through stock resonators and 3" t304ss race bullet axle back. Very similiar design wise to outlaws. Drone is very minimal around 2k and it's pretty wide open as they say. The X makes it more tolerable in lower rpm range versus the h. It scavenges like a beast at wot.
