I received a flip key today. I got the key cut. The instructions for programming this unit have two parts, one for the key programming and one for the RKE programming. The Ford owners manual only states one programming method is needed for the one piece key/FOB ie. IKT. I got the key programmed and it starts the car, but the RKE portion of the flip key does not work. I tried programming the key & RKE per the owners manual and the key worked but the RKE did not. I tried your method to program the RKE after th Ford owners manual method did not work,but the RKE still does not work. In your method it states that the doors will lock after the 8th turn of the key. On my 2010 Mustang the doors did not lock. This also is not stated that it will happen in the Ford programming method. Is there another way to program the RKE?
