Don't like this at all. In my opinion this is the kind of thing that gets the ball rolling so dealers can charge insane markups.

Looks like I'm setting the DVR for Sat Jan 17th. Speed Channel will have the majority of the Shelby cars on that day including the 2010's. Thanks for posting the links.

Doesn't matter, they've done this with new cars for the last few years. All the money for these ist off-the-line new cars is bid for charity, the ZR1 went for a million last year and i don't see dealers charging a million for those, they know these prices aren't for the "car". I think the Challenger went for about 200-300K,i'm not sure. The new Camaro should be auctioned off this year as well.
Dealers don't need Barrett-Jackson to charge insane markups, those will only work for so long alway, the '90 Miata was going for double-sticker when it came out. Just don't be a sucker.

i think this is a good thing. Your showing more people your new freshened designed cars and i dont think its about dealer mark ups i think its to try and get this car noticed even more. With a big audiance that watches the Barrett-Jackson auctions, this can turn out good for ford and generate some more sales for there products

ford is just showing people that they are trying to move many steps into the right direction and more people might feel the urge to pull the trigger on one of there new better quality products.
