Finally ran the 6'er at Cecil

Got the itch to go racing and the weather FINALLY cleared, so we shot down to Cecil last night. We brought our 8yr old son, so we had to leave around 8pm. ..hot lapped both stangs and ended up doing 5 runs in less then 2hrs.

She drove the 6'er and her times ranged from a worst of 14.5 @ 100.4 mph to a best of 14.3 @ 99.6 mph 2.3 60' RT .666. It was odd, because as we hot lapped more the car got faster in the traps, but the 60' & ET's dropped.. Her best was her second run I believe.

The sixer is a bone stock (mechanically) 2012 Auto with 10,000 miles on the OD, has the Hwy 2.73(?) rear gear which makes it a dog out of the hole, and she only runs 87oct fuel.

Even after 5 runs, her tank avg was still 27mpg and I'll bet when it's manually calculated out later today it'll be closer to 29mpg...

Very cool man. I love the V6, wish I could afford to get one as a second car.
