Finally going home and getting my car!

Well, I'm finally leaving Afghanistan and my car should be waiting for me back in Italy by the time I get there.

It's been a long year and I'm glad it's over with... Here's what I have to look forward to -

2011 Premium GT Manual Black with Black/cashmere interior
Brembo Pkg
HIDs
Security Pkg
Comfort Pkg
Glass Roof
3.73 Gears
Shaker 1000

I think that's it.... Been a long time since I ordered it... Here's what I have ordered so far for the car -

Steeda Sport Springs
Steeda Heavy Duty Mounts
Koni Sport Shocks/Struts
UMI Adjustable Panhard Bar
SHR Flush Mount Louvers
CDC Chin Spoiler
Roush Upper Billet Grill
Roush Axel Back Exhaust

That'll be it until next summer when I get wheels/tires.

Anyway... Not that anyone cares... But I'm excited so I thought I'd share.

Thank you, I'm sure I will. No need to thank me for doing my job either.

Adam, great news. Hopefully you'll get some good drive time in Italy on the autostrade. Maybe detour up to Germany for a day trip on the autobahn?

Awesome news! Thanks for your service.

I'm sure you will enjoy the car when you get back. It would be fun to get out on some of those Euro highways with no speed limit!

Yep, should be a good time. Actually planning on taking a trip to "The Ring" when the weather warms back up. I don't plan on setting any records of course, but it should be fun to take a few laps!

The Ring is pretty cheap (something like 40 euros per lap?) considering how many miles long each lap is. One of my wife's 2nd cousins did this last year while visiting family in Holland. A family friend in Holland loaned him his Ferrari and they drove into Germany for a weekend and ran a few laps around The Ring in the Ferrari. Then they spent another day blazing around western Germany on the autobahn then back into eastern Holland. Hey emailed us some cool pics and basically said it was the coolest auto adventure he's ever had (or will have). Enjoy your laps on The Ring when you get a chance to.
