Cool Extended Warranty Questions?

So i picked up a 2013 GB 5.0 6 Spd. At the door it came out 31200... Now the dealer here SAN TAN FORD sold me a Extended Service CONTRACT trough LONGHORN which they claim its better than the ford extended warranty or anything else. It cover 500 components AC, Drivetrain, Electronics, etc... Stuff that ford would only cover if it failed by manufacturer defects.... I smell BS...

Like the FORD factory warranty is not good enough or so...

6 Year 75000 for 2800 ( LONGHORN ) and 50 dollar deductible. so pretty much 15K miles for 2800? I dont think so...

Here is why. It raised my PRICE to 34K And now they are claiming that even if I removed it, it wont lower my monthly payments? I don't get how it wouldn't when the car total would be cheaper???

I mean if i do the math, it indicates 34K over 72 months its more than 31200 over 72 months...

I spoke to the FINANCE DEPT and they keep on telling me it wont make my payments less...

Any suggestions? Ideas or what the heck is going on?
what should i do?

It's a bit too late to help you probably but if your FORD dealer tries to sell you something different than what FORD offers, chances are there's a huge payday in it for them and trouble for you. Read the language in your extended warranty contract and see what the escape clause is.

Spoke to US Bank ( who i got the loan from ) and Ford San Tan. Confirmed that I can cancel the contract. Sad part is they did sure made me wait this long 40 days now... As long I cancel within 30 days, there is no price issue. Anything after that is prorated...

I need to speak to someone... Id hate to be charged extra... Would you say the STANDARD ford Warranty on the car is good?

The good news is the 2800 dollars would go back to US bank. Lowering my LOAN

Depends on how long you want to keep the car and how sure you want to be that you never have to pay for repairs. That's all up to you but there are plenty of Ford extended warranty options available to you rather than messing with an aftermarket company.

Not a big fan of extended warranties on vehicles or most products for that matter. I got pressured once on an extended warranty on a new car. I told the business manager that if I so badly needed it, then I think I should rethink the whole purchase. She backed right off so the sale would go through.

Confirmed i can return it, and the money will be sent back to the bank. As i was told ( the extender warranty ) covers my car during the 75000 mile time whatever breaks, they will cover w.o any questions...

I plan on keeping the car forever! Love the car. Dream car.
