engine coolant \ air intake temp question...
I was running my datalogging software on my car and I noticed the following average values.... is this right or a problem:
- average coolant temp (f) = 205 degree
- average intake air temp (f) = 142 degree
im not sure what the temps *should* be since we dont have these gauges normally on the car.
any input would be helpful

Since you have a 13MY Premium, it should have track apps. That has a gauge mode which shows intake temps, so you could use that to see what it is or should be as another source other than your software.
From there. I don't know about coolant temps, but the intake temps do seem high. Depending how you were driving that is.

That coolant temp is fine. Highest I get to is 103C when doing 30 minute track sessions - stays very consistent between 99-103C. Normal driving when it's not hot out is lower, in the range of 195-205F (sorry for switching units, my data logger at the track only reads in celcius).
Regarding IAT, it should be almost identical to ambient when you're driving. As soon as the car stops moving, it climbs quickly though.

Coolant temps are definitely fine. Mine range from 190 at the track up to about 220 F on a really, really hot day. I could be wrong but 240ish F is where I believe the danger point starts for permanent damage.
