Picked her up tonight, replacing the totaled mess that was my brand new 2012 GT Premium. The new one is an '11 GT Premium, 12k miles, solid MT82, black with black leather, gt500 svt rims, 285/40's in back with 255/45's in front. She runs hard and looks good, got it for 25k including tax, title, etc., already ordered the 3" magnaflow comp. cat back, bama tuner, jlt cold air intake, and tasca mod shop is putting in the mgtaa adjustable suspension pack with supplemented k springs this week. I'm excited, sorry for the crappy pics, I'll take some nice ones this weekend. Her name is Jane, but she'll respond to "Vader" as well...

the previous owner purchased them "online", they're actual svt's, not knockoffs, i think they're 18x8.5's, but i haven't checked yet, feel free to enlighten me (anyone). the tires are goodyear eagle f1's, so the entire setup is oe from an 05-09? gt500. i like the look, but i think i'll get some wheel spacers and powdercoat them matte black. my other option is wait until february when lmr gets the sve's that were on my last 5.0 back in stock in the sizes i need...

no biggie man, i'll be using this setup when it's available again in the spring, but those are lmr's sve drifts in matte black, 18x9 with 235/50/18's in the front, and 18x10 with 285/40/18's in the rear. when i redo it i'll be using 255/45's in the front though.

 

Congrats! You won't miss the selectable steering thing, which is the only difference of any significance between '11 and '12, I think.

 

I noticed that today! Kind of interesting, but it doesn't seem to matter, and after I get the frpp mgtaa pack on it'll be on rails no matter what. I can't find any other real differences between the '11 and '12...

 

There's some small difference in Sync too, I think.
