I hear good things about the electronic package. I'll be getting it for this car, and I figure in a year I'll figure if I care to have it on subsequent cars.
That is, IF I get a subsequent car. I plan to keep my car long term, so I try to just get what I want and not worry about resale, in 6-10 years I'll just assume it's going to be pretty poor.

This new google map thing was designed for non nav cars but it would be cool if while I am thinking about it on a PC at work customize the route at my desk rather then once I am in the car.

But won't the Electronics Pkg be obsolete in a year or two anyways?

I hate you.

I think the "stirring the pot" smiley is my favorite one on this site.
Edit: As far as typing on the touch screen is concerned, if the interface is anything like in my buddy's late-model Ford Super Duty, it won't take much typing to get an address punched in.
As you type, the system narrows the choices of your next entry until it gets to a list of 4-5 possibilities then you just pick from the list, then enter the street number and city or zip...quick and easy.

I like my Nav. but my $100 Garmin tells me "I have reached my destination" at my mail box. My Nav. tells me "I have reached my destination" a street over from my house. LOL!!!
