Ecoboost Stang Spied...

A couple of beefs that I have with Ford currently and with this article.
It seems as though this article is just to spur up a little controversy about the possible Ecoboost engine. We've established why this is a retarded idea so I'm just bunking this one now.
My other thing is, don't those wheels look great though! That got me thinking. The Camaro offers an RS edition, just a looks package with the bigger wheels, new badges, halo headlights, blah blah. I think it would be cool to offer a GT appearance package for the V6. Sure you V6 owners may pound on me for that statment but why not? Keep the Tri-bar Pony on the fender. I know the fascias can be changed and the aftermarket is blazing with parts but I still think this would be a nice option. It would certainly make some of the Z/G owners a little more pressed in the style category. I just think the V6 still needs more aggressive styling.

I just like the fact that there are no fender badges.

Just to mess with people, I not only took the GT emblems off my '07 GT, but I also added EcoBoost emblems to my car. Makes for some interesting conversations at the dragstrip, dyno, and local Mustang meets....

^^^Seriously!^^^
This is all pure assumption based on zero facts. Ford is constantly taking mules out for an endless amount of reasons. Most likely it's a Boss mule.

Looking at the pics where it shows the wheels, there are the brembo brakes on there and those poor wheels are covered in brake dust. Must have been driven hard... Maybe they want a new Mustang Challenge car.
-Those holes in the front valance look like where the fog lights are supposed to mount on the GT/CS- not sure what all the hype is about that?
-It is missing the middle section of the rear diaper as well between the exhaust tips.
-Like everyone else mentioned- if they say the thing driving as in the shots they took, then why did they not comment on the sound? I guess they could have been using a freaking 1000mm paparazzi camera lens and not heard the beast from thier position...

I watched a Ford video a couple months ago talking about 90% of thier vehicles being offered with an ecoboost option. Not from the video, but the closest statement I could find on the net:
http://fordfleet.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
"EcoBoost is arriving for the 2010 model year on the Ford Flex, Taurus SHO, Lincoln MKS and MKT. By 2012, the company plans to produce 750,000 EcoBoost units annually in the U.S. and 1.3 million globally. By 2013, Ford will offer EcoBoost engines in 90 percent of its product lineup."
If this is the case, the Mustang may very well have an ecoboost engine option comming soon, and there sould be some test mules running around thestign the engine.

Oh man, another EcoBoost Mustang!? You're killing me Brian, I try not to laugh too loud at work but I do love your new monikers! Maybe take off the leaf or Eco and leave Boost. No, just the way it is, is perfect.

So now they are resorting to Enquirer type of journalism by just making stuff up. The 'TT' does NOT mean twin turbo, it means Tooling Trial. This is a small run of cars before actual mass production on the line to make sure all the processes and tools are in working order. These cars are then used as development mules since they cannot be sold as they are only a trial run.
And if it was a twin turbo V8 would it really rev past 8000rpm? I think they need to find some new sources as the current ones are full of it. There is NO Ecoboost 5.0L. I myself would love to see the power it makes but it just isn't happening.
