Does anyone still have direct email to BAMA

Hey just like the title. Does anyone still have Dougs direct email not through AM? I bought a tuner from him awhile back and was wanting to use the same tuner but get a new tune for the 2011. This is part of the response I got back from someone "Because it is a different vehicle there is a new vehicle set-up fee which is $150.". Uh ya Im thinking no . Better yet does anyone have an SCT they bought from him and is it unlocked and ready to roll? I would check but I dont exactly have a car right now lol.

ETA: I found the email. Any info on the lock would still be appreciated. I know the $150 set up is jacked and dont figure him to be one pushing that.

The free tunes for life program applies to that vehicle. You can purchase a single tune for your new vehicle for $50, or you can buy 3 tunes for $150 dollars that will re-enroll you in the free tunes for life program again for your new vehicle. Either way, you have to have returned your last vehicle back to stock in order to use that programmer.

Gotch ya. That sound much more realistic. The way it came off in the email was 150 for new vehicle set up (like set up the SCT) and then XX for the new tunes. I can understand the 150 so you can get new tunes for upgrades down the road. Thanks for the clarification. Have yall started work on the new tunes yet? Because I sure enjoyed the ones for the Bullitt. Having three tunes was nice also for trips to thong wearing states that dont have 93oct
O and I returned it to stock before it went to the junk yard

I bought my SCT X3 and Tunes from Doug back in 2007 for my 2006 V6. Then I got the tunes from Doug when I X-Charged it. All together I think I spent about $600 with Bamachips ...

Just after I bought my 2010 GT back in February I got the email from American Muscle with the Tunes for Life deal.

I called them up and they gave me a customer Number based on my original 2007 order. I then went to American Muscle Website and filled out the order form to get some tunes for my 2010 GT using the customer number I got from them.

They sent me an 87 and a 93 tune for the 2010 GT ... no problem. Guess they started cracking down ...

Also ... I don't think SCT is tuning for the 2011's yet ... are they ??

Ahh not cracking down. I can understand the tunes for life only being for one vehicle. Would be just a little silly if it was tunes for the life of the programmer....I mean I wouldnt complain but Dang lol.

LOL Sorry to hear about your loss! However, your new car should feel amazing! And yes, there's a certain 2011 on the dyno right now for R&D! Videos coming soon!!!
