If you're seriously that concerned about look into a trade as has already mentioned. You don't want to be regretting or wondering the whole time you've got your car. At the very least test drive a 2010 GT and see if it really is something that you're going to regret.

After reading a lot of replies in this thread, I am still having some regrets... the 2010gt seemed like a better deal. I do however really like the appearance of the MCA package... looks better than a stock GT imo. Hopefully I made the right decision... i need to stop thinking about it or it will drive me crazy

I think the MCA looks great, but I've been in your shoes and actually went through with going back to get what I wanted (it was a used Lightning). Never said I was very smart
I thought about doing that, but I am pretty sure the wife will not be happy with me losing... i dont know 5k ish for a car a just purchased lol

True...but you could make the argument of "What is the cost of your husband's happiness?!?!?!"

Don't take advice from me, I make delightfully awful car decisions

Well you don't KNOW for sure what it would cost until you ask!! Life is too short to waste your time driving a car that isn't exactly what you want! You have an MCA for Pete's sake (whoever that is)! I wouldn't think the gap to a 2010 GT would be as big as you're fearing it is.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. The 10 GT is fractionally faster off the line with the 2.73's. Throw the 3.31's on there, and it's not faster. And the MCA is a much more aggressive and IMO a better looking car than the GT...

So the only thing that's "better" is just saying you have a V8. I have the MCA and not one person has said to me..."too bad it's not a V8"...in fact, I get compliments every single day on the bad *** look of the car. In fact, I left my phone at the gym and one of the guys working there recognized who's phone it was because he saw the picture of my car in my phone and his response to the other person there was..."I know who this is...he has sweet car"......lol...I've never even showed this guy my car before.

Sounds like you're all set then. You only need to satisfy yourself, and disregard the opinions of others, who have absolutely no stake in the issue. Congrats (and yes, your MCA is great looking!)!

If your a guy that thinks the only real mustang has a v8 than trade that sweet sexy six in so someone else can enjoy it for all its worth at a serious discount and get ur 2010 gt. If your just remorseful over the fact that the 2010 gts are going for some killer deals right now man that happens every time a new model comes on the market the old one inevitably goes for killer discounts
