from my experience and those of family/friends:
Frankilin- is good to deal with but small so allocation could be an issue
muzi - is good, they will be tough on negotiating but generally fair just gotta work for it
watertown - i would avoid, i got my 2010 GT there, watch out on final contracts, on my 2010 order they slipped an "all incentives to dealer" in without discussing it first. just wrote it on a line the final paperwork before they handed it me to sign after all the negotiations, it was my first order so i wasnt prepared for it, didnt notice until after the fact. my fault for not triple checking, but bad practice on them for doing that.
framingham and jack madden - would avoid as well, pain to negotiate with, not good on pricing
rodman, dont have much experience with, but reputation is high pricing

These are just my opinions, based on my experience shopping for a 2007 fusion (bought from muzi), 2010 mustang (bought from watertown but never again), 2012 mustang (decided to wait for 2013) and inquiring about a 2013.

I bought my 2012 from Herb Chambers in Braintree and had a great experience. Got the car for $100 under invoice plus incentives.

Don't forget to go to the ford web site and have a Mustang brochure sent to you. Mine showed up with a $750 coupon which can be applied with the incentives. I just did the same for a Focus and got a $500 coupon.

good information thanks. I did just receive an email from Ford with a $750 rebate coupon attached but its only available on 2011/12 cars. I've been requesting a 2013 brochure on the mustang from Ford, got a reply today telling me to call a toll free number and they will get me a 2013 brochure I'll check this out and see if that's true.
I contacted Herb Chambers in Braintree, and Colonial in Plymouth I have them both quoting me on a 13 V6 base, 6 spd, Performace package and recaro seat options.
I might also try Quirk Ford.

thanks

Don't go by their first quote, it will probably be more than you want to pay. Tell them what you want to pay for the car and see if they'll meet your price. You might be surprised.

Wise, sage advice. As opposed to foolish parsley advice.

I kid.

Good advice. I did have Herb Chambers price one out for me today.

2013 V6 Base, 6 spd manual, performance package and recaro seats MSRP was $26,585.00 they offered $24,865. Going to continue shopping and place an order on the March 20th. Too bad the car would not be in by May 5th otherwise I could use the additional $750 offer from Ford...

make sure you use kbb or edmunds to get the invoice price with all the options you want then compare it to thier invoice sheet for the build you want. the dealer sheet will include around 400 bucks for FDAF which isnt usually negotiable.

I got my 2012 GT at Quirk Ford in Braintree. People on this forum were surprised at how quickly they delivered the car. The thing is, they are supposed to be the biggest volume dealer in the State and when they order cars those cars are a priority. Apparently all dealers aren't treated exactly the same by Ford. Not only that but they'll sell at a lower price because they more than make up for it with volume. Go to Edmunds and get the TMV (true market value) for the exact car you want then go to Quirk and make a deal for that car at that amount. A little haggling and you'll be good to go and won't get screwed. Good luck.

It's a bit of a drive but Portsmouth ford in nh is a good place to buy. They sell at invoice. No haggle price. That's where I buy all my fords and family buys their Lincoln's.

This^^^^

I live on the north shore and I drive up there for cars. Great dealership. Zero pressure buying and a flat no haggle price always at invoice minus rebates. I suggest Jerome if you go up there. That's who I've dealt with before. Great guy.
