Dealer can't recalibrate my odometer/speedometer for 4.10s

Well crap. The highest they can do is 3.73 because that's the factory option. Apparently Ford doesn't have a SpeedCal tool available for 2011 Mustangs yet. I could buy a Ford Powercal but it comes with some stupid air filter and it costs like 400 bucks not including dealer install. I don't want to get a regular tuner because I want to keep my powertrain warranty totally intact.

Any ideas? Suggestions? I don't mind my speedometer being off but right now my car is putting more miles on the odometer than it should!

buy the ford tuner. You dont have to put a tune in to adjust the 4.10's. U can just change it to 4.10s with the Sct and not change anything else. Not sure about the ford tool.

You mean this?

Not cheap. Plus then I've had to have the Ford dealer do it to keep the warranty and charge me even more?

Stop crying about the warranty issue, get the ProCal, and change it yourself. They're not going to go on a Gestapo witch hunt and try to prove you installed the tune yourself. Just use it, enjoy the gains it provides, and get your speedo adjusted. You'll fall in love with your car all over again.

How much is a rear gear install in the USA (on average)?

Well if you haven't done the exhaust yet. Get this http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts...KeyField=12345

It sounds great and takes away the skip shift.

The procal you can just buy from the dealer and use the tool to only change the gear ratio without the dealer. It is quite easy and does not require downloading a tune.

He has mufflers, Borla?

but for that price ~$350, I would just get an SCT and tune from whichever tuner of your liking
run a tune and fix the speedometer, you're already knee-deep into "voiding the warranty"
and stop paying people from doing the little things you can do yourself, build some confidence.
