A DEAL TOO GOOD TO PASS UP

Hey everyone,

Well it has been four long years since I have had a Mustang but last week I came across a deal I could not pass up. A friend of mine is a sales manager at the local Chevy dealer and told me about a car the owner had traded in that morning. It was a 2011 Mustang GT Premium Convertible. I was please to find out it was a six speed but what sealed the deal was the fact that it had less than 1,400 miles on it. I actually got more for my 2012 Jeep Wrangler than for the Mustang. Love having the ability to hit a button and drop the top. The Jeep was great but taking her top off was an ordeal.

So now to add some axle backs so I can hear that engine as I drive down one to Big Sur. May be changing out the wheels soon too but I will see if these grow on me first. BTW my previous car was a Race Red 2012 GT Premium with Brembo Package.

Nice trade! Welcome and Go Navy

Where are you in CA? And if you're thinking about letting go of those wheels, let me know first. I'm considering taking on a set for a project, as they were my favorite factory wheels. Thinking about having them widened!

I am in Monterey. The wheels are obviously in very good shape considering they have 1700 miles on them. I will be sure to let you know if I decide to go for something else. More than like I will look for some Brembo take offs.

I have some Brembo take-offs, perfect condition. Straight trade?

I'm in SF Bay Area, just north of you. We're having a big cruise down to Monterey in July! Should head out!

If these are factory Brembo wheels I am very interested. Do you have any pictures of them?

Let me know the details on the cruise in July. August is the month to be down here during Car Week. Most certainly my favorite time of the year.

PM me your email or phone number and I can send you some. I daily drove on them for about 7k miles, so they do have tiny nicks here and there, but no curb rash or bends. I'd still rate them 8.5-9/10!

Welcome aboard Mr. Navy (pun intended). Congrats on a great deal. I have a '14 ragtop in black also, and I gotta say that I like the nose better on the '10-'12. Lotsa great people here and good info. You've already met Patrick....if you hook up with him, count your fingers after you shake hands.

If your trade doesn't work out, I just came across these while browsing Craigslist:

Looks like a good price to me if you can work something out on shipping.

Would love to change the fog lights on it. Anyone have any brilliant ideas?
