Crazy custom V6 ideas...
Now that I am in V6 mode, I've been up most the night customizing my perfect V6. This car will be a daily driver, but I want it to stand out. I hope no one copies me, but if they do, you'll know you heard it here first and I'll be flattered. I'm not going to do a poll yet, but let's see what you yahoos think!
The car will have these options/mods no matter what: 6MT, Performance and MCA Pkgs, EP, Comfort, Backup Cam, Security; not sure on HIDs yet, but probably. Roush O/R exhaust, CAI and lowering springs, 3.73 gears, 401A ****/boot installed before delivery. 0.5" spacers on front, 0.75" on rear (will have the rears widened 1" eventually). Calipers painted black, Brembo zinc-coated slotted rotors, Hawk HPS pads, stainless lines. Or just get Roush big brake it if PP wheels will clear it.
1) P37A Edition - play on Roush P51 Edition. Ingot Silver/Saddle. Roush P51 emblems (the yellow/red checker emblems) replacing grille pony and added to fenders, right corner of dash. May modify the fender emblems with yellow/red LEDs and wire in to turn signals. Modify rear medallion to house Roush P51 emblem. Ghost Sterling Gray stripe on hood bulge, with thinner outline stripe around that, similar treatment to rear decklid up until spoiler. Roush lower splitters and rear valance, possible Roush front fascia painted similar to Stinger1982's fasica, but substitute black for Sterling Gray. Possibly paint all lower cladding Sterling Gray. Added for shows: Japanese/German "kill" flags on doors. Hope to have Jack sign the dash and STB. License plate = P37A.
2) P37 Special Edition - play on P38 Special gun. Could be Silver or Black, probably Saddle interior or black. Keep MCA grille, but powdercoat billet part flat black (add lower billet grille also powdercoated black) and paint outer grille shell flat black. Keep grille pony, but paint all the chrome flat black, keeping red white and blue stripes. 2008-2009 Bullitt wheels, rears widened 1". Rear Shelby GT350 tailight covers and center section all painted flat black, modify reverse light sections with a slit to allow reverse lights to shine through, possible add matching flat black pony emblem, flushed into center section. No fender emblems. Add 401A ****/boot and 401A dash panels. License plate = P37SPCL
3) P37 Lightning Edition - Very similar to P51 Edition, play on P38 Lightning plane. Probably Sterling Gray/Saddle, maybe Silver/Saddle. I'd have to come up with some other emblems, I'll look more into Lightning history. Possible tribute to Glacier Girl. Not too sure about this one, I just thought of the name about an hour ago. Have to think about it more in depth to distinguish it and play up the P37 Lightning motif. Add 401A ****/boot and 401A dash panels. License plate = P37LTNG
What do you guys think? Suggestions? Time for photoshops? Haha. Sorry I never got back to the other photoshop threads I was working on. I got kinda tired of it after working on them for like a week straight. I have some pics that are done, just haven't uploaded them yet.
Again, hope no one copies me, as I won't be able to get the car until the end of the year, but I don't mind. I just hope they don't take the license plates, but I'll live. It's just a car. I wish I could sell these ideas to Roush/Ford or something...

Looked up another one. Obviously I love planes/cars so...
P37A Hawk Edition - play on YP37A Hawk plane, prototype predecessor to the legendary P40. I don't think I'd go through with this one, but I didn't know there was a P37, if not only a handful of prototypes.

Haha yes. I know. I'm appyling. Hoping for that spot to come through next week. This is my motivation...
I wish I could fricken work for Roush/Ford (here in CA though!) and come up with stuff like this all day. Going to be moving in with my buddies, rent free. That should allow me to put away a decent chunk of change for my own place down the road, and still be able to get the car/mod it. This makes absolutely no difference to me, but I think any of the 1st three would have a good chance of getting a magazine spread, if not on the cover...

No I don't have the ***** remember?
Besides, I'm working on that for my current 2000 V6. If I get a 2011 V6, the current car will become a weekend showcar, Terminator swap, new paint and probably swap in the new GT automatic if it will bolt up. Just to have a nice cruiser.
