Coolant leak
I noticed my coolant level is 10mm below the cold fill line on the coolant tank.
It should not be looking coolant unless there is a leak.
While I was doing an oil change I looked around for leaking hoses but I could not spot any.
When I got on the ground and looked through the undergrad I spotted traces of coolant on the bottom of the radiator.
The car is out of the main warranty at 61k miles but does have the ford extended service plan basic. Does anyone know if I would be covered?

Best bet is to check with the dealership.

What's the "ford extended service plan basic"?
I'd think you'd be covered under the 5 yr 60k powertrain. But as you stated you're out of it now. That being said, at 61k, I'd think the dealership (depending) in good faith should still cover you. I know several folks who still have had something similar like this covered. But I'd get back to the dealership asap - before additional miles get added.

That would be impossible, leaking from the tranny.
I tried to tighten the radiator drain plug and ended up sheering of the plastic nut part of the plug. I ordered a new radiator drain plug, engine sump drain plug, gr800 rotor and motorcraft coolant.

Depends if your car is an auto, if it is that's where the lines enter the cooler.
