New Continental Extreme Contact DW 255/40 19 tires on my nickel wheels (2011 Mustang GT Premium). I thought the new size might have some negative issues (sidewall bulge, look small in wheel-well, vibration, speedometer, etc.). I'm happy to report that I have NONE of these issues. The tires look amazing on the nickel wheels (19 x 8.5), the steering response is quicker, and the feel is great. I'm very happy with my upgrade. Ford Country in Henderson Nevada was awesome, they price-matched the tires (Tire Rack), no shipping, mount & balance, and they recalibrated my speedometer and TPMS. Total price out the door was $1150. I highly recommend this tire size upgrade to anyone with nickel wheels (obviously not for cold and snow). And to be extra nice, Ford slapped on my Shelby GT 500 axle-back mufflers for free! The car is perfect now!

I don't have a mustang yet, but have had DWS on my current car for several years now...by far the best I have ever owned! Tread still looks great on them; the longest lasting tires that have been on this car

I'm throwing around the idea of getting these on a set of staggered 20" matte black FR500 wheels. I'm looking for a better all around tire than the performance I've experienced on my all season Pirelli's. These have some good reviews and seem to be the best choice for the $$. Sizes I'm looking into are 255/35ZR20 and 315/35ZR20 on the DWS's.....not the DW's. The reason I'm looking into all season's is because this will become my all purpose setup, not coming off next winter. The RTR's, if I decide to keep them, will be a summer/track use only setup. I can get a full set of DWS's for $909.16, not including mounting and balancing..which I have a hookup for.

RTR's potentially for sale soon.....pm me if interested.

I got staggered Shelby CS69 20's for Christmas and put Conti DW 255/35/20 on front and 275/30/20 on back. They are terrific. I don't track the car, but the grip for spirited driving is awesome, and I have a much harder time breaking loose on acceleration than with the stock Brembo package Pirelli's (255/40/19). They handle low temps very nicely, though we've had no snow or ice so far this year in Texas.

They also are somewhat quieter than stock, and even with the lower profile, absorb road joints and bumps nicely. Still a very firm ride, but that seems to be suspension more than tires.

I'm sure the DWS are very good, too, though I have no experience with them.

I loved the Conti DWS's so much on my supercharged '07 GT (as well as my wife's '07 Miata) that I recently put a set of 255/50/19's on my '11 GT for 3 season use (I'm near Seattle, so we get plenty of rain and occasional light snow). Great handling for an all-season tire, and waaaaay better in cold weather than the factory Pirelli PZero Summer Tires my '11 Brembo GT came with....

My fiancé has the dws on her car and they are great in the rain or snow. Much better than the stock pirelli she had. No road noise either ...

Exactly! I forgot to mention that. Much quieter tires and smoother ride, too.

Good stuff guys thanks! I'm really going to consider these next.
