Contacted by Ford PR we have the first Public 2011
I'm sure I'll have the first 2011 Mustang GT in Macedonia, perhaps the entire former Yugoslavia. My '05 was the first here and there have been only two other S197's, one belonged to a guy that worked for ITT it was a '07, and the the other belonged to a missionary, it was a Shelby GT and he added a paxton SC to it. My neighbors and friends ask me almost daily when the new car is coming. They are excited as I am. Mustang is more than American it's global. Once I was traveling from Germany to Bosnia and stopped at a rest stop in Austria to have a coffee and the cooks shift was over and he was leaving. Suddenly he burst back through the door as if someone was chasing him and said "Erraten, was auto geparkt ausserhalb"? (guess what car is parked outside) and they kinda gave him a blank look, and he said with much excitement, Ford Mustang. Nobody moved and gave him another deer in the headlight look. Then he said "du sind dumm" (you are stupid). He asked if it was mine and could he look at and I let him sit in it and start it up. When those SLP Loudmouth came to life I thought I might have to find some oxygen for him. I'm sure it was one of the happiest days of his life.

That's great. I bet thats the same reaction that Japanese guy had in Vaughn Gittens "Unleashed" video when he got to start up a mustang

I still havent driven it yet............
Hey, in your original feedback you said that the ride of your Mom's 2011 was "WAY better than the 2007 Fusion that it replaced." That thread got hijacked and I don't think you saw this question. When you said it rides better, did you mean that the 2011 rides more smooth than the Fusion or did you mean that the Mustang handles much better? I'm assuming that it has a more rigid feel to it.

The Ford dealer I have been working with said they will have one on the lot on Monday...guess I will know for myself soon enough

Thanks for the info. I had a 2007 Fusion SEL V6 (gave to my ex-wife) and that thing handled like a big caddy. It was unresponsive and felt like it was floating down the road. It was extremely comfortable for road trips but I just can't stand a car that doesn't let me feel the road or respond properly.
