Clutch smells really hot
Clutch smells really hot
I was out showing my friend the car and there is a stretch of abandoned road behind me that is about 2 miles long and we were doing a couple 120 mph runs and then I went to do a few good burnouts but they weren't good at all.
First one I tried doing in second gear from a stop which I have done a few times with very good results, but this time I revved it to about 4k and dropped the clutch and the car just kinda lurched forward and then went with no burnout.
I then did it from first and was able to get a decent one, but the clutch was really burnt smelling after we got back.
Is it possible that doing the high speed runs made it more difficult to do a proper burnout, clutch was too warm or something?
