Mustang fans, the clock is ticking. Literally. Ford has set up a marketing Web site designed to drum up interest in the 2010 Ford Mustang, which hits the market in the spring.
The site launched Aug. 15, and it counts down the seconds till we get to see the new pony car at the Los Angeles auto show in November.
The Web site also will be ground zero for a contest set to start Aug. 27, which will allow Mustang enthusiasts to share their stories about the iconic cars--for a chance to win one of the new ones and a trip to the L.A. show.
Ford is asking fans to keep their stories short, 250 words or less, and throw in a favorite picture. Twenty-five stories will be chosen as finalists, and the public will vote on the winner.
The new Mustang launches into a revitalized pony-car war, competing against the modern version of the Dodge Challenger, now on the market, and the Chevy Camaro, due next spring.

Hahaha....awesome!....Money says we get leaked pics a day or two in advance....
This is killing me! I wanna see it already, why wait until November! The Dodge and Chevy guys got good peaks at there cars literally years in advance. Curses to you Ford for your clever marketing!!!! Do you think Ford will release specs, options and price info with the car's public debut in November?
Checkout Topnotch's post in Brad's thread. You can see the 2010. Sort of
