I wish they would but i'm sure they won't . Over 4 years ago JLT started selling their catch can for the new 5.0. Plug and play. None were being made for the 2011 v6 yet (i have a v6) so i bought one for the GT and cut the hard plastic hose and removed the fittings. I bought some high pressure fuel hoses and installed the factory fittings, then i cut the hose to fit my v6. I 'think' i was the first person to install a JLT catch can on a 2011 v6. Sad to hear JLT had to 'improve' their original to make it better

Product development is normal, and I would be interested to hear from JLT in regards to development testing that went I to the original and updated design. It's tough creating new products for a new car/engine, but with good engineering work (reference blowfish racing shifter bracket that recently came out), a good first release is usually possible.

I'm guessing a lot of people did minimal research on catch cans prior to buying one. The cars are also designed to operate without one, and a partially effective one is better than OEM. The old style JLT is certainly an easy plug and play setup that catches some of the oil. A bigger, more expensive setup could be expected to perform better, which is essentially what I found in my testing. Everyone wants top performing equipment for rock bottom prices. How many people would pick a $300 catch can over $99 if it caught 50% more oil? Probably some but not all I'm sure! Just food for thought.
