This is the first time I have heard of this thing. What do you think? It seems neat but I sat in my car and imagined it sitting on top of my dash and it seems to get in the way. I think it would sit better in other cars with lower dash panels. I messaged the Carloudy people to see if would work with SYNC and not my phone so as not to burn up data.

I heard about it some time ago. It wasn't close to shipping but it seems like they have fixed most of the bugs in it. I would like to have one but not until I have read a review from a reliable source.

 

'If' the display is good in 'all' lighting conditions, it might be a good thing. I would not want one but i'm sure a lot of people would. They've been several attempts at an aftermarket thing like this for 'boats', that didn't work out very well.

 

I've seen other simpler HUDs available at various prices. This one is interesting with its additional features. I wonder how much the retail version will be.

I didn't see it listed anywhere, but it looks like they added a tinted film to the windshield to improve the display. If so, then that is why it looks better than some others in sunlight. Its that film, not a special screen. Use that film with the others and they'll look better too. Some of the others do come with a tint film too.

 

looks cool
