Car not starting (not battery related)

Went to start my car this morning. Turn the key to on position, everything comes on as it normally does. Push the clutch in and turn the key, everything flickers off and comes back on as it would if the car is about to start but nothing else happens. As far as I can tell the starter isn't even trying to engage. It's almost acting like I didn't push the clutch in. There is no clicking or anything. Its like the signal isn't making it there.
It did this once before, but started after a minute or so, thought it was just a glitch or something. Any ideas would be great

Clutch switch maybe. Black wire with a yellow stripe and a blue wire with an orange stripe go into that plug. Jump them and see, I read somewhere that you can use a fuse to jump them in the plug

That was my first thought as well... But, have you checked the battery? Mine did a similar thing about 2 years ago and turned out a couple of cells in the battery died. Some juice in there but not enough to turn the starter.

Good luck.

Have the battery tested first. That is the weakest link in the system

Fuses, relays, and battery are good. Trying the sensors this evening.

No problem. Also for a heads up to anyone who has to do this, the ignition lockout sensor (the one on top of the pedal hinge) is a major PITA to get off/on. Very little room between the sensor and the body of the car.
