I Have No Life
Pre 2013, any HID headlighted car, used the incandesent FOGs in the grille as DRLs
2013s used LED (Transport Canada considers these HIDS) and cannot be used for DRLs like in the past.
Hence why the V6 fogs in the lower grille are used.

So, if this is the case, what are they going to do about the '13 GT500 with its lower LED fogs?

Well the whole thing does suck! Welcome to the club! Bought a 12 Boss LS in Canada and I get screwed on no owners pack and no Track Attack. It's just typical of how Canadian owners are treated by Ford of Canada.

Ok.. The only reason I asked is because they are listed as a standard feature on the GT500 on Fords website, two lines under the HID headlights.. http://www.ford.com/cars/mustang/tri...oryTab=viewAll

2013 GT/CS in Canada (grill problem?)
Hey folks,
I have read the two posts regarding the v6 grill problem on the 5.0 from Canadian dealers.
So I was wondering if the GT/CS package gets shafted in any way or form? (proper grill ? spoiler? )
Also, for my fellow Canadians if you don't mind me asking what octane level do u guys use because the rating is kind of different from our US cousins. 89 or 91 from Petro Canada? Shell?
Thanks a bunch, best regards.

How is it different?? I have always used 87 with no problems. I use 91 when in the US as it's still cheaper than 87 in Canada!!

The owner's manual of 2013 GT for the states suggests 89 gas, but the Canadian one suggests premium gas (which is 91 here in Toronto)

I can't see the CS grill being a issue in Canada as the American version has the fogs in the lower front end and not in the grill.
And yes we do get screwed with our gas prices here in Canada,as it's mainly taxes.
