A/C blower issue

left on a quick vacation to the beach. early morning still kinda cool so had heat on for a while. when it came time to use the A/C ...nothing!! could hear the blower but no air out of any of the vents! tried defrost, max air, even turned the whole thing off and back on.. nothing!! rode the rest of the way sweating with the windows down! Got to hotel and checked in. maybe 20 min. later came out and presto!! everything back to normal! worked fine the rest of the trip! any ideas as to what the heck that was all about?? btw it's a 2012 with only 6000 miles on it

This very thing happened to my wife's 2014 Nissan. Intermittent problem that the dealer couldn't replicate. Took them NINE business days to do a pressure check and determine there was a pinhole leak and the refrigerant level was low enough to cause the system to freeze up... so no air out the vents even tho the blower was functioning as advertised. Once the system was shut down for 10 minutes and defrosted, it would be fine until the next time.... whenever that might be.

I had a big window unit that used to do that very thing... so it makes perfect sense.

What bothered me most about the whole thing was that the local service guys won't do a **** thing until they can SEE the problem, and if I hadn't pushed them and opened a ticket with HQ, they might STILL have it!
