Building daughter first car please help

I have a 2013 v6 a s197. I bought as my daughters first car. I'm building the **** out of it for her. I'm trying to replace the seats the rear seats mainly. Will the newer models of mustangs seats fit in this s197
BTW I'm doing all this from prison so it's hard for me to get **** done
A good friend of mine is doing the work I'm just buying parts.

I Think You Need To Stick With The 2nd Gen S-197 Body 2010-2014 For Your Seat Part Needs. Not Sure How Well The Earlier Rear Would Work Either although Closer on The 2005-2009!

Are You Missing Everything?

And What Do Your Front Seats Look Like?

If You Really Don't Need a Rear Seat They Really are Not Much as Far as Passenger Room But Just Some Trim a Seat Delete Kit Might Be The Way To Go!

welcome to the forum

to keep it relatively hassle-free, I would stick with 2010-2014 seats ... the later front seats MIGHT fit but I'm pretty sure the back will not

2011-2014 should fit, but there were really no changes from 2013-2014. The 2010 maybe, but they kind of have a mix of the gen 1 and gen 2 S197 components so it could be a crap shoot there.

Yes, the front seats will fit, but there is a lot of modifying that needs to be done. You have to custom make seat brackets, and rewire and pin the harness in order to get them to fit. It is not a direct swap. I have seen people put the rear seats in as well, but again, I'm not positive how much custom work is needed for that. As everyone has said, your path of least resistance would be to get take out seats from an 05-14 Mustang, preferablly 11-14 as I THINK the wiring harness is ever so slightly different in the 05-10 Mustang compared to the 11-14. Don't quote me on that, just something I thought I remember reading a while back.

@Joshs197 Are those seat covers made by Katskin by any chance? They sure look like they are from looking at your pics...
