Mustang Owners with Kids....protecting seats..
I have a 3 y/o that uses a booster seat in my car. I would like to protect the seats from the booster seat and any mess she could make.
What are you all using to protect the seats?
I saw some car seat matts on Amazon, but i'm wondering how'd they work since they seem to be made for flat seats and not seats like ours in the back.

I have an almost 6 year old and will be outlawing him eating food in my car(lets see how long that last). I will have the same issue. I'm thinking about putting down a beach towel or something to that effect.

My kids will seldom ride in the Mustang when I get it, and when they do, food and drink will be outlawed. They've ruined the upholstery in both my car and my wife's with their crumbs. I guess it gets better eventually, but my boys are 7 and 10 and they're still unable to keep a back seat clean.

I use a combination of towels and an old thick ski jacket liner I once used for snowboarding. It helps, but it's not perfect. I also don't let mine eat much in my car, but I do let him have water. He doesn't like anything but milk and water anyway. Food and milk is for the MomMobile.

I'm more concerned with the hard plastic bottom of the booster seat rubbing on my new leather. The only drink she has is water in the car and is usually only in there for 5 minutes at a time.

Yep. Thick towel. Just match it the best you can. Thankfully, my son will no longer be required to use a booster in just over a month.
When we had the springs installed we were way late leaving so he was allowed to eat a corndog on the way home which seemed the least likely to make a mess, but he was firmly reminded that it was ONLY because I messed up and caused us to be so late and it won't happen again. Hehe

A towel (or two) from Target/etc that nicely matches the leather and folded neatly between the leather and the booster seat has worked great for us in my wife's van.

Check the seat- all edges of my son's are rounded and smooth. Probably won't be so bad when it comes down to it.

+1 on the towel.
Double it up at the corners and it should be fine. You might consider rubbing some leather conditioner inot the seat after you remove the towel. Towels soak up the oils.
+10000 on no eating

This is why I got the leather and waited until the kids were older until I jumped on the Mustang thing... (o yea, also because they finally made a good car).
Seriously... anything just wipes off the leather.
