Hang in there. Keep an eye on what's on the local lots. If what you want shows up, order it. If the dealer made it a stock order, that's on him. Tell him to do a DX with another dealer and get what you want. If mine isn't here by Memorial Day weekend, I'm just canceling. I'll fight to get my deposit back. I don't have a problem with waiting. But waiting with NO INFORMATION about why the car hasn't be delivered but the factory says it's "in transit" is unacceptable.

Plus being in Harrisburg, you KNOW the roads/routes suck in PA. You can't get anywhere there unless it's right on the interstate or turnpike.

And if it makes ANYONE feel any better. . . I ordered something from Wal-mart, site-to-store, on May 2nd. It left the distribution warehouse for delivery to the store 2.5 days ago. The distribution site is 2 hours away. Tell me how THAT'S reasonable??? And to make matters even funnier, the CSR told me, "it's the slowest delivery EVER." I had to laugh out loud because I was thinking the Pony Express was faster.

 

W/Sticker says Convoy & route 76 turnpike almost all the way!If something shows up close enough b-4 they ship mine someone will be out of a sale.

Venting helps some I feel better now & I know others are still waiting also.To those that are waiting patiently I apologize ahead of time for my impatience.Thanks for letting me vent my frustration.

 

Didn't retail order verification only open up in mid March? Your dealer probably did retail allocation if you ordered it before then, perhaps?

I had earlier expressed a desire to see a 2011 Mustang owners registry, at least until 2011 deliveries become routine.

 

I got my sticker today. Looks like 5/20 build date for me with a 5122243 vin. Hopefully i will see it the following week, as im just a cople hours from the plant. Ron

That's weird. Why would they have two dates?

 

My dealer says mine was built 4-5 & the w/sticker says 4-8.As far as CS goes well lets just say not really helpful at all!

Ford CS and the Dealer look at two different systems sometimes one has been updated and the other hasnt. Your car was either scheduled for week of May 17 or May 24 and has now been moved to the other. If you cant pull your Window Sticker by now most likely the May 24 Week is correct.

Car entered production Week of 4-5 on Day 4-8.

Just guesses based on what Ive learned during the long and tedious wait.

 

As of today I do not have a window sticker so I think you're right and the 24 May day is correct. Bad part is I leave for vacation to the Outer Banks of North Carolina on 4 June so I fear it will not be here making the drive with me.
