I believe you because your eyes would adjust to the lower light over time. Then when you turned it back up it would seem "brighter"

Turns out I didn't even have the dimmer turned all the way up. Now my guages pop like crazy!

Blue Halo - White numbers

And why don't the radio/ a/c controls change color? They're ice blue, so unless everything else is ice blue, it looks weird.

I have my Mycolor fixed and the second lowest level. How you need it brighter than max is almost shocking.

All I hear are people complaining about my color brightness, glare from bright dash treatments, lousy leather quality, ugly sat antenna hump, terrible sat radio sound, and sync that doesn't listen. Is there anything about the premium package that is any good? Maybe resale value of package that gets you 1/2 back?

Same thing, especially with the Halos, They always seem so washed out.

Any ideas? I know on my old GTO, a dealer could program this change.
Not trying to be insulting but sometimes the simplest answer can be the right one - you have the brightness adjuster that's next to the headlight switch turned all the way up right?

I have zero of those problems in mine. As usual in life the complainers speak the loudest. That's why that's all you hear about. You don't hear the thousands that are satisfied and happy.

This. I almost didn't buy a Mustang because of the fear I built up reading posts from here. I suppose complaints are a matter of perspective and expectations. I've dreamed of owning a mustang that runs for 34 years. My car exceeded my expectations.
