Anyone on here running the 93 octane Brenspeed tune? I just got mine and the JLT intake. Is the throttle response changed to be more responsive I'm coming from a 2006 and you can definitely tell more of a difference with the throttle response on that car then you can on my 2014 or my missing something. Are there different stages of how responsive it can be set to, I want to be as close as a cable throttle as possible.

 

I was not impressed with Brenspeeds tune for these cars. Have you talked to them about this though? I think they have a race tune that has touchier throttle.

 

Call them up and discuss with them. They have tuned my cars and have done outstanding job.....

 

are your cars 5.0L cars or 4.6L? Brenspeed has done a great job in the past for me as well.

Contact them. I am sure they will tweak it for you. I worked with Brent years ago on my 06 GT 93 tune & got it dialed in great. I don't see where the 5.0 should be that different to adjust. He called it Faster Idle Decrease 93 Tune back then. He modified the 'Deaccel pot' but thats all I remember about it. I ran his emailed tunes for about 2 yrs, then had a custom tune done.

 

i just received a 91 race tune for my 13 gt from brenspeed and also noticed the throttle response is not as noticeable as my former brenspeed tuned 10 gt. i called them a few days ago and they said the 5.0 as they come from the factory are already pretty much tuned to their max, and i will not see a night and day difference like the 4.6.

You should be able to .3 -.5 and 3mph in 1/4 with tune.
