Bought a built Tr6060,MGW Shifter and clutch for my 12 5.0!
correct, VVT is not functioning, the reason you get power above 4k is where the cams are designed to get power, below that they rely on the VVT to make power. I would check and make sure all the plugs are pluged in and ground wires(if the have any) are properly grounded.. The shop that did the install should have done all of this if they were any good..
correct, TiVCT is basically disabled at WOT and high rpms, using the cam profile fully..
Thanks everyone for your help. You guys are awesome!
Took it in to the Ford dealer. It was a mini 15 Amp fuse for the Hego sensors! Everything is looking fine now! I put 30 miles on her and no more check engine light.
They charged me $150. All they noticed was the exhaust LMAO. I'm going back to that dealer

at 75 to 100 bucks an hour.. not bad. prolly charged him 1.5 hours diag charge.. may be a cheap fuse, but doesnt mean it is easy to find that is the problem..
Lol, it was a $140 fee to just plug in their check engine diagnostic tool. The fuse costs $4.
They said the warranty would've covered it but the wiring under the car wasn't at factory location so they knew the wiring was messes with and that could've caused the fuse to blow. They also added that when my exhaust was installed they must've moved the wiring around and it caused the fuse to blow.
They also noted " exhaust completely modified". LMAO they didn't even notice the transmission, clutch, driveshaft, or short throw LCA's and tune.
Service advisor was very cool. " what did you do to this thing??"

OK. Then the lesson learned is if you have ANY electrical problems you check your fuses first. Glad you got it worked out. Let us know how the gear ratios affect the driving!

I can't even do a 40 roll unless I'm in 1st gear. The car really needs that 4.30 gear. This would help with low end acceleration and not affect top end? Will I be able to go over 160 with this gear?
Thank you.
