Thank you. I didn't know that but that explains it.

I haven't had a chance to really test the car...way too many police out today.I had to rush to work.

I think I'm just going to sell it along with the clutch and everything that I took off the car.

I don't believe the 302R 6060 even has a speedo output built in. I think race teams only care for the tachometer since that is all you see on the RacePak. Also, I think the wiring diagrams can be found in the full 2011 Mustang shop manual.

Thanks guys.

The check engine light is on and reverse light isn't working. The little wrench is on too.

The car is on fail safe mode. I went to D and D performance and they said that I need a part from Abbot. I asked him if he can take a look at my car and he did. He said that I should bring it in on Tuesday. They're the only shop thats gotten the speedo to work on a swap like this.

I hear this sound with this trans like a fan but as soon as I hit the clutch it stops. The DD guy said it's because of the twin disc clutch that I can hear the trans spinning. He said another type of clutch may dampen the sound a little.

The MGW shifter is awesome. My car just feels kinda slow because its in fail safe mode.

Your car is probably in failsafe because it doesnt have the proper vehicle speed data to correlate to wheel speed with the ABS system wheel sensors.

Getting your speedo working should fix that as long as its calibrated properly. If the speedo works but its off by a large amount it may still set off the same failsafe.

So I went to D and D and bought the parts needed to get the speedo working. I have an ERA being over nighted to me. Can't wait! It should work now for sure!

So tired of failsafe mode. The car is soooooo slow right now.

Kind of. Ratios are different and the tailhousing is sourced from Ford Australia.

Put the transmission "kitty litter scoop" from the Laguna Seca on it too. 20-30 degree difference on a hot day road racing.

It's good to see someone tearing into it!

No pic. Mark from Ford Racing was talking about driveshafts and mentioned it as how they used a one piece d/s without vibration.

D and D. Walsh Motorsports in Wixom MI fixed the wiring!!! They're the only ones in the country that can do it! They even dyno calibrated my speedo! Everything is working perfectly! They did a nice clean job and they did it in one day!

The end of 2nd gear is about 90 MPH LMAO.

4.10 gear or 4.30? Let me know guys. Thanks!!

Probably the best thing to do would be to figure out the combined getrag & final drive ratio of the old setup then take your current tranmission and reverse the process to figure out what sort of final drive you would to maintain roughly the same gearing (if your interested in doing so)

The caveat being that the Tremec is a wide ratio transmission designed for a car packing some big torque down low where as the the Getrag is a close ratio tranmission designed for a car not packing so much torque down low.

Which tremec did you get (cant remeber if you said it was from a GT500 or not)? Pre or Post 2010 and what is your final drive?

I have 3.73's right now and it was good with the MT82.

I think it was pre 2010 GT500.

Thanks
