I agree that the light output on the gt500/CS/prem v6 fogs isn't great. At the same time, I don't think most people realize what the purpose of fog lights are actually for, and the reason why they are yellow/dim.
Fog is just condensation in the air. The more/brighter light output is just going to be reflecting off the fog making it more difficult to see.

 

This. That's why I always tint my fogs yellow or amber. They're not doing much anyways, and I like the contrast.

 

The Gt500 Fog lights are not the same, I wish I had a pic but think of a Turn signal bulb surrounded by Aluminum foil. The CS/V6 Fog lights are actual Projector lights

 

You have LED bulbs in the fogs right? What brand and what are the lumen specs?
