I don't think the Escape/Mariner came with a black/white stitching interior....

Yes you can fold them down, but they would look better gone imo.
Find a rear seat (upper) from a 2010, the headrests are lower otherwise they're identical.

I guess you have an Escape.. do the back seat headrests from it fit on the front seats of the Mustang? They're a little smaller

I do! You got some you need to get rid of?

Thanks for the link, I couldn't find the headrests in there (yet), will need to take some more time with it . . . $160 is a bit steep but it could make a big difference for my neck!

I might just get those Escape headrests if the stock ones annoy me much. The one in the pic looks pretty close to stone, which is the interior color I ordered.

if you know someone that works on a brake press, just have them bend the rods to the angle you want the head rest to be.

I work at a dealership, I tried the rear headrest from a 10 escape and they do not fit, rods are to close together. Bending the rods of the current headrest would acheive the same results. The headrest in the picture is stone. I figure this out when I had a customer purchase a new f-150, they have the same headrest as the mustang it it bothered his neck.

Crap well I was going to say we have a 2010 Escape Limited rental with black interior...I'll go snap some pics of the front and rear headrests, but it they don't fit then that would be pointless. What year did that other headrest come out of then??

Do you have an escape with Black leather interior that you could swap headrests with and take a few pics for us? What about from different angles to see how much bigger the escape headrest is? Is it really that much taller than the OEM ones? Tall enough to hit the roof in a coupe when tilting the seat forward would be a slight inconvenience

What about headrests from a Fusion or Focus?

I'm very interested in this. Thanks man!

The fronts fit, it sounds like.

The one we have here, 2010 Limited with black leather, has all black stitching. It wouldn't match. I just looked at my dad's 2008 Fusion though, and they look like they're at less of an angle than the Mustang's, and I'm pretty sure the 2010+ Fusion/milan come with white stitching on the black leather. They also match the shape of the Mustang seats better than the Escape one...might be worth a shot. Maybe Gus at Steeda can try his Fusion's headrests on one of their 2010 Mustangs...

I could live with black stitching over white if it made the headrests more comfortable.

2010 Ford Fusion. Looks like it will match 401A nicely, 400A has a bit of a texture to the leather.

My buddy at work has a 2009 Fusion, he said to come grab the keys to swap the headrest. I'll be back with pics. I think he has light cloth interior though.
