Best way to make a GT drive more like a Boss 302?

The only car I've managed to run to the speed limiter was an '07 Saab 9-3 Aero (turbocharged 2.8L). At around 130, the engine just started to slog (with the top down, 100+ is a "unique" experience).

I've had my 2014 Mustang GT up to around 135mph (in a 75mph straightaway just south of the Texas-Oklahoma border). The car didn't seem to dance around at all.

The winner for "dancing around" was 105mph in my '65 Mustang (with an inline 6 no less... hooked up to a T-5 transmission). Basically, you just try to keep the car pointing forward as the front end hops back and forth!

I will obviously never get my '14 to Germany to try out the Autobahn, but it would be nice to make a trip out to Arizona or someplace exceptionally flat sometime! The aforementioned point about the limit of the tires is a good one- hitting a speed beyond the max rating for the tire can result in spontaneous disintegration (which, at the speeds likely to cause that will more likely than not result in a fatal mishap).

PS- I have the 3.73, and 2nd gear is the funnest feature of the '14- those Pirelli P-Zeros break loose quite nicely in 2nd!

Good points Varilux, and I couldn't agree with you more on 2nd!
I love second in my GT TP with 3.73's. It's like the Coyote reaches 100% efficiency in 2nd with 3.73 gearing. You're in it for all of 3 seconds, but before you know it you've gone 20 to 60!

And to Steve's point, I've had a few opportunities in Germany to max out my rental cars at ~130mph. It's humbling to get blown out by an M5 or an R8 as if you were standing still at 130mph. Long live speed limit free roads.

Steve, enjoy the Mustang out in Germany. I bet you have more fun per liter than the rest of us can imagine.
