Getting on the freeway tonight and I see a luxurious looking car with some awesome looking taillights. I go to pass it (normally, not trying to race) and he floors it. Subsequently, I floor it and I start catching up to him rapidly but then he has to press his brakes. We were able to get back side by side and we floored it at the same time and I pulled away by about a car length and a half. He flashed his brights and then took the next exit down the street.

I looked up the car and it was a 2012 Jaguar XJ, although I'm not sure which engine it has. There are three available 5.0 V8's, the most powerful with 510 hp and a 0-60 of 4.7 (same 0-60 as the 5.0 Mustangs). The cars range in price from $75-$111K for the 510 hp supercharged 5.0...

The Mustangs really are a power bargain...

I'm guessing it was the more powerful of the 3 because of its acceleration, but either way it was fun (no traffic except us).
