is there a woodgrained steering wheel for the mustang?

While the GT500 wheel is great, I would be frustrated with all the buttons that don't work, and am not electrically competant to make them work.

Wonder if that PAC audio control adaptor would work for the non functional buttons?

The Boss wheel is going to be THE one to have for upgrading base cars. It has the proper controls...

I like the Grant wheel, but what's up with the "This part number will not work with Mustang Wheels that did not have a leather grip and cruise control" disclaimer at the bottom of the description. While all Mustangs (to the best of my knowledge), including the base model like mine, come with cruise control, none have a leather grip. What the heck does that have to do with anything???

Anything that has "Alcantara" associated with it isn't going to be cheap.

Can't see it being much more than the GT500 wheel, which is $305

Oh well, doesn't matter right now, you won't be able to get one for quite a while yet.

I would rather have the GT500 wheel, but having nonworking buttons would drive me nuts. The rental cars have these wheels with the base radio and the buttons work.

Why can't we just order the rental car wheel?

I was thinking the same thing too. Does anybody know if this part is orderable? And if so, does any one have a part number for it? Ford should just sell this as an accessory since there would be such a demand for it.

GT500/BOSS wheel is the only option IMO. Expensive, but easily the best.

What's this about a ROUSH wheel??? Pics?

I have heard a rumor that base 2012 GT models will be getting leather steering wheels finally, so maybe there will be a moderate cost option next year that can be retrofitted for the cheap plastic steering wheels.

There already is a moderate cost option, the 18R package, $195 MSRP. The only way to get it is to be a fleet customer...
