its funny even with lower numbers we more than quadrupled their sales. which is what i meant by "mop the floor" anyways
i think in the end it is a lot funner to own a mustang than a camaro..

While you are making corrections, don't forget your apostrophe in "you're."

Lighten up Sangfoeva! I was joking with you because your slavish dedication to Mustangs made me chuckle. Here, I'll ask: "Have you ever owned a Camaro?"

Haha, that thing would have to be powered by emotions, considering there isn't anywhere to put an engine.

My own gem
Real modular 4,6 engine or 120°V8 should fit - ok. seriously might be more like this one

Just stating a point from that post....

How he mentioned the drivetrain was essentially unchanged and how 300hp is all we get....

Design is one thing,
but I have no doubt that the engine/size/power will be more potent,
as they would not dare tip their hand this early.... they were only saying that.

Now... there is truth that there was a gen 5 concept being worked on around that time for the .... 02/03 ... but that was canned.
And there was another one after that..
The one we see here is the 3rd attempt (according to Scott Settlemire)

I even think the 05 Mustang was not the first attempt.
I remember back in the day it was suppose to come out 2 years prior as a 2003.5 with a 5.0L SOHC in the GT and DOHC in the Cobra, and even PRIOR to that... 4.6/4.9L engine options in the GT, 5L Cobra and the 3.0/4.0L V6
It seems from those articles, that the 4.0L is the ONLY carryover.

And remember, the final 05 Mustang was already completed when the concept was designed. Backwards

I will never own a Camero, but the lack of H.P. in the Mustang has been an issue. The new Camero Z28 is most likely going to have 400h.p. I've read that it may be priced in the $29k range.

Instead of Ford upgrading the Mustang GT, we Stang lovers that want more H.P., are going to have to spend $35k for an SE or break the bank and buy a Shelby GT500. Thats not fair!

I DO I DO! C - A - M - E - I mean A - R - O

They should make the GT with 350hp, then the SEs with enough to beat the z28 hands down. If I like the look of the 09+ models, I'll be buying a SE. It all depends on which are offered and what the perf gains are. If it's something like the Cali Special, then I'll pass. But, if they do something like the Shelby GT, but not a Shelby, and more hp, I'll bite into it.

Well... there is this article...
http://www.stangsunleashed.com/index..._articleid=140

390HP.... it's the Terminator's motor, so that should level the playing field... but then the CamAro guys (undoubtably all wearing mullets) will say that GM did it naturally aspirated.

It would level the playing field if the LS2 was being used...
but lets not forget, just as much as those guys compare the 05s or 07 GT500s to old or future cars... we shouldn't compare the engines they have now, as the LS2 will probably NOT be in those cars.

LS3 or whatever they call it will be in the base vette by that point, and in the Camaro no doubt
