BAD blue oil smoke after a hard run

well, i have severe oil smoke when i lift after running it through the gears. i dont shift it above 7k. it smokes from both tailpipes when i first lift, then settles to the passenger pipe, and after every downshift it smokes severely.

IT IS OIL SMOKE. save all of the BS. i dont know if its oil accumulating in the manifold that gets picked up under high vacuum conditions, or something worse.

it does not smoke under acceleration. just when i downshift.

i am going to buy a few pistons, rings and head gasket to prepare. plugs look normal last time i looked. datalogged a/f is fine. the tune has 2 degrees pulled globally.

edited out. i guess i do need to lighten up.

Any check engine lights? I think all of the guys with blown #8's had a misfire code. Well... good luck either way. What tune are you running?

Wow, threatening people turn your ***** red or what?

And why in the WORLD would you pull two degrees globally? Do you know what that does? It doesn't just affect the WOT settings ya know.

Sometimes, I think you have more testosterone than brains.

Op. Check your throttle body and see if oil is present there. Could be coming from pcv tube going to your air intake. And lighten up. Shyte happens when you run these cars.

I would take a look at the PCV valve too, I have been told that even when brand new they don't work like they should, and some are much worse than others.

Back in the day, oil smoke on lift off/decel was valve seals. So that points to the PCV tube. Is the 5.0 an open tube like the 4.6? No actual valve?

I agree with the oil sep.
