i think theyd sell more cars if they released the gb for all models...kind of sad but ford has to make sales.....

The wheels on the GT are AWESOME.
Nice- the side stripe on the V6 looks very nice as well- much better design than the current one.

Anyone notice the GT in the pics doesn't have an antenna? Wonder if it's just off or if some of us might have gotten our wish and it's finally in the glass or under the decklid?!

it seems like alot of people that do not like it are similar to the 03-04 cobra / gt500 debate..lol.. 05-09 / 10, nobody wants to justify getting into a new higher priced car then they are already in. i think there will be alot that upgrade but more people that have the earlier models and first timers. i know if i just bought an 08 i could not justify getting a new one a year later, i just talked the girlfriend into the 08..lol..

 

Also, just curious. Does it look like the steering wheel on the GT has a cover on it? Like the dude thought it was hot and stuck a wheel cover over the thing? Because it looks really bloated to me.

 

ive been wanting a mustang for a long time but my parents wouldent get me one cause they were afraid ill kill myself lol but yea it does look like it has one

 

and that steering wheel is red i hope its not that big

Is it just me or is anyone else wondering why the almost GT500 like front end is on the V6 and the GT front is not all that special? Plus why the non body colored pieces along the bottom of the car front, back and sides. Maybe they are just trying to throw us off and changes are still to come.

The steering wheel is not bigger diameter, but it has a thicker rim ( as it should be on a high performance car. )

I believe the front end is the same except that the GT is blacked out while the V-6 is body colored and the black pieces on the bottom are there to make the butt look smaller than it is.

Very nice job. From a designer's point of view, I can see certain things they did to really make these cars look mean, lean, and shapely without doing a ground up new car. The camo is doing its job making the sheetmetal look very flat and 2D- hiding the real shape and sculpture in the design, and making your eyes focus on individual elements such as quarter windows and head/taillights out of context of the rest of the shape.

It appears everything my friend said is true- they've taken all that's good about the Mustang we have now and made it better- angrier more aggressive front, sculptured rear, hip kick-up, highly upgraded interior, bigger wheels, and more power. He said there are few surprises that are there but you can't see- wouldn't say what ( he knows I post here )-just said you'll have to see it in the reveal. He said makes the current car look "wooden", which is designer speak for straight and stiff. But he also said without the advancement and success of the current car, Ford would have never given them the Mustang team $ and freedom to do the 2010 so much better, so it owes everything to you current owners- he told me to tell you 05-09 guys/gals a big THANK YOU!
