Anyone replaced speakers in a 2013 yet?

Just got my 2013 GT Prem and the Shaker 500 speakers are just as bad as the ones that came in my 2010. I had changed the upper door speakers in my 2010 right after I got it and it made a great difference. Has anyone changed the upper door speakers in their 2013 and do you know if the procedure is the same as the 2010? Also, the replacement speakers I had used for the 2010 are no longer made, any suggestions for a good replacement speaker?

Lastly, the rear deck speakers on the 2010 were a bear to replace as they were mounted from above. Are the 2013 speakers the same way or are they mounted from below (inside the trunk) and therefore infinity easier to replace?

I had replaced the stock speakers with 6"x8" Pioneer D6802R speakers.

While the size is still the same, I think the new Shaker system in the '13's use a 6x8 that looks to be of a component style speaker that is mounted in a thicker box enclosure as opposed to the standard metal basket style 6x8. There was another thread either here on AFM that had pictures as to what the front speakers look like, and a bracket solution required to mount what you want.

Rears are the same as before.

Thanks guys. I did further research on Crutchfield and found 2 Polk speakers that supposely fit with no mods, Polk DXi570 and db571. The DXi570 are on sale for $75. I was told both sound the same and have great bass.

Too bad about the rear deck, I guess I wont be changing those anytime soon.
