Here is a $3500 DOB kit compared to 2012 5.0. The flat curves are the DOB.

 

But what about the weight difference? I may be wrong but from what I have read an 08 roush 427r weighs a bit more

 

you said you want to buy a used 07 for 20k and slap on a 6k supercharger? why not get an 08 gt500 for 27k instead and work off of that? or get a stock 5.0 for 24-25k

These are realistic florida prices without negotiating too!

 

+1 for the GT500 - CAI + Pulley + Tune + 3" cat Back and if you can drive the car pretty good it will get you mid to low 11's
