Anyone know about summer incentives/deals?

I've decided to get a new 2014 base auto GT this summer, so the time is getting pretty close. And I would like to get the best price possible. Can anyone make a guess based on past years experience/ or know what kind of deals and incentives the 2014s will have this summer? I'm thinking dealers might want to start clearing out inventory soon with the 2015s coming but I am not sure how much of an impact it will have on 2014s or what kind of deals to expect. Any help or advice appreciated. Thanks!

Right now it is a total of $3K or $1K plus special financing. If you request a mail order brochure from Ford you'll also get a $750 coupon you can combine with any offer.

Most dealers will sell you the car for invoice. So you figure that drops the car down about $2-$3K depending on options. You combine that with incentives and you can knock off about $5-$6K off the MSRP.

That's pretty darn good.

That sounds about right with incentives.

Not long ago, the dealer that I bought my car from had two 14 base auto GT's for around $26,600 which is quite a bit cheaper than I was able to buy my 14 base auto GT which I bought last August. I paid $28,400 which was only $172 over invoice. The incentives are better now than they were back then.

I don't know if I would wait until the summer as there may not be any cars left like you want. Most of the cars around here are the manual trans cars and a lot of them are premiums. It may be different where you live.

Deals are happening now…first price offer from the dealer was invoice minus rebates ($3500 at the time) minus my $750 coupon…$6900 off for a special order.

Hey bud, I if you want, PM me your ZIP code (or post, whichever your most comfortable with) and I can run the programs in your region. And if you wanted a search run for something specific in your area, I can do that quite easliy. Let me know. I'm always here to help out fellow members.
