Just spoke with 2 local dealers. One quoted 650 for the TK and install, another 605.

Wow, that's quite a bit of money for what you're getting IMO.

Yea the best price for the kit I can get is $425. The rest is labor. The dealer tries to milk you on labor. They wanted 250 and I told them I was going to see if all other dealers had the same price. They came down to 180 for install right after I said that.

That is the install guide. It is a super easy install...

BUT, you get a tune that will produce some extra power and make some nice tweaks, and you get to keep the warranty. On top of that, you can turn the tune on and off on the fly just by using a different key. That is a really nice feature.

Nice feature indeed. makes you wonder about their integrity and honesty though. just on that principle, you should just look elsewhere for a shop that will be honest and upfront with you about any work you may want done.

I wouldn't reward any shop a dime of my hard earned cash knowing that they are only giving you a reasonable rate because they know they are cheating you!

So are these now available for immediate delivery and installation? I looked like they stopped shipping them for awhile.

The question is, is it really worth the money?

I like the Track Key ease of use, but I still feel I'm going to get AED to dyno tune me, so I wouldn't want to spend the money twice. If only Ford would let us load our tunes into the key! Or just build the ability to change the tuning parameters into the car from the factory, like a BMW's iDrive options or Ferrari's Manettino steering wheel dial.

My dealer charged me $302 for the kit and then an hour of labor time to cut the key and load the software and install the new filter

Do you have a link to a thread about your impressions of it? Thanks

It's on one these pages somewhere. I really like it though. Throttle response is much improved over stock. Sounds more aggressive, deeper tone. Engine braking difference is noticeable for sure. The lopey idle is much better and noticeable compared to what was on my Boss. This thing shakes like an old school hot rod.

Have you done the exhaust yet? I'd love a link to a sound clip, I plan on doing the same to mine

The exhaust is all finished. My wife says it's too loud. My neighbors told me they can hear me coming up the main road before I even turn into the neighborhood. I say it sounds PERFECT. Only thing I might still do is add the Boss302 side exhaust cut-outs for highway driving. I don't get any drone at all but the exhaust is just louder than I would like for a highway cruise.

I'll work on getting a video

I drilled out the stock baffles to 3/4" and its great. Minimal drone on the highway, still a great growl/snarl/bark on the throttle and the awesome over run/engine braking pops and burbles. Also doesn't bug the neighbors as much. Might want to try the free route before spending big $$$ on the cutouts.

I already had the cut-outs drilled out when I had my Boss302. Still a little too loud on the highway for having a conversation with passenger or on phone. Cut-outs totally eliminate that issue.

So upset. Went to Palm Bay Ford to have the track key installed and no voucher was in the **** package. Thinking back, when I received the box/package a couple of weeks ago it had been repackaged. So now I have been on hold with Tascaparts for 25 minutes to see what I can do. Wasted appointment and time. So pissed off.

/\ /\/\/\ Hey. did you get this resolved? Did Tasca come through for you?

Just throwing this out to everyone...
Any of you find a better price than Tasca? Do you recommend the dealer that you purchased from? Are you happy with the Track Key? Is there something better?
