Gonna need you to get up sir and move to the back of the bus so those of us with grey or silver wheels have a good place to sit
(J/K, car looks SICK)

I think the reason people get sick of black wheels can be partially blamed on the plasti-dip revolution since that was originally the only color available for the stuff when it crept into the automotive world. I live in Indiana and every beater seems to have black plasti-dipped stock wheels, and a coffee can exhaust tip. It's a $7 set of new wheels in a rattle can.

Back of the bus?

I just think black wheels look good with a nice bright contrasting color. Can't have a black wheels with a dark colored car or bright silver wheels with a bright colored car like grabber blue.

I can't take it, this thread keeps popping up. Black wheels or anything else as a matter of fact done on a car is a personal choice and preference of the respected enthusiast. To each their own. If you don't like it, don't do it and move on I say. Wouldn't be surprised if someone starts a thread about the dislike on the stock antenna on the mustang!

EDIT: I LIKE black wheels. It's almost like tinting a car in my eyes.

I agree. Someone on here had GHIG with chrome wheels. Not my taste.

Yeah, I'm over the all black wheel fad. Prefer the grey or silver or chrome. Even white works on certain white cars.

Agree with the poster about an 'accent' rather than a dominant look... make it look cohesive/balanced and well thought out.

It's just that I cannot see the wheel design when it's black... just looks like a couple black cave openings....

But at the end of the day, hey it's your car... have at it. /RZ

See, now ^here is a very good point that I don't think has been mentioned. You can't see the detail in the wheels. You buy a $2000 set of wheels and unless you're close enough, they just look like black circles.
