Any idea what local dealer would charge(markup)

on bringing a car up from Texas to New Jersey. I was told shipping would be around $750 but we didnt discuss yet what kind of mark up they would add. The car is discounted $5300 already from the list price. Im sure my dealer is going to want to make some kind of profit. Im assuming a $500 markup?sound to low? My thing is this.. If i ordered a 12 model with same options with X plan my cost would be $2500 more than an getting an 11" model with all the discounts assuming the freight from texas is $750 and local dealer adds $500. I have a trade in involved but i have to wait until saturday for appraisal guy to get back from vaction. I dont want to my monthly payment over X amount of dollars. Whats a 1 yr difference in value?

Why not buy it from the Texas dealer and fly down and pick it up! I've done this twice now...Fly and Buy's can be fun and the roadtrip home can be memorable... Couple hundred bucks for a plane ticket and you're there!

If that '11 in Texas is an early VIN, I would think about waiting, (and paying more), for a '12.

Just me.

Apparently nobody wants a Performance White with Stone interior Brembo car except me because my dealer could only find one in the nation. I think they wanted over $1500 to ship the car from Tennessee to Texas. I decided to just order one.

My '10 white V6 premium with stone sat on the lot 11 months before I rescued it. Right next to a couple white GTs. I see more black aound here (San Antonio area) than anything else. Very few white.
