Found out my build date today (the date is 4/27) I have taken the day off work and will be following my car down the line start to finish

That's awesome! I had a "friend" at the plant back in 2002 who photo documented my Mach 1 down the line for me... He confirmed it was in fact the 3rd production one off the line... First one was White, despite Ford touting the Azure Blue car.

To actually be there as they assmeble it though... hmmmm...

The old model sold great, this one has really tanked. My GF works for a supplier and she has told me that they have a backlog of parts for the 6 as mazda thought the car would take off and then fell on its face.

The MS6 was built in Japan and shipped over (only one sold here like that, all others were at AAI). The new 6 is alright, but lacks the sportiness that the first gen had. Besides, they keep stripping options off and making them more and more expensive, so they're hurting their business.

I hope to do the same. I actually plan on parting out my MS6 this weekend to start making way to the GT.
